    The Green Transition Business Competition Highlights Young Sustainable Development Companies

    Biocluster Finland awarded young green growth companies at the Green Transition Gala 2026.

    The application period for the competition was from January 12 to April 7, 2026. Thank you to everyone who applied! 

    The Winner and Audience Favorite were selected at Biocluster Finland’s annual Green Transition Gala. In the event, the award nominees presented their innovations and operations to the jury and the audience through pitch presentations. The Winner of 2026 is Volare Oy, and the audience voted NPHarvest Oy as their favorite. The Winner was selected based on the innovativeness of the solution, growth potential, implementation ability of the team and environmental impact.

    The Green Transition Gala took place on Friday, May 22, 2026, in the Rake Hall of the Klaus K Hotel in Helsinki. The event gathered stakeholders from different sectors together and offered participating companies valuable opportunities to network with other leaders in the field of sustainability.

    The Green Transition Business Competition is aimed at innovative Finnish growth-oriented companies and startups up to 15 years old with an environmentally friendlier product or service. The rules of the competition can be found here.
