Biocluster Finland is awarding young green growth companies at the Green Transition Gala 2026.
The Green Transition Business Competition is aimed at innovative Finnish growth-oriented companies and startups up to 15 years old with an environmentally friendlier product or service. The rules of the competition can be found here.
The application period for the competition was from January 12 to April 7, 2026. Thank you to everyone who applied!
The competition jury will select award nominees from among all applicants. The award nominees will be announced in April. The winner and audience favorite will be awarded at Biocluster Finland’s annual Green Transition Gala, which gathers stakeholders from different sectors together and offers participating companies valuable opportunities to network with other leaders in the field of sustainability.
In the Gala, the award nominees will present their innovations and operations to the jury and the audience through pitch presentations. The winner is selected based on the innovativeness, growth potential and environmental impact of the company’s solution or service.
The date of the Gala will be announced at a later time.
The winner of 2025 was Elmery Oy from Espoo, and the audience voted Nordtreat Oy from Vantaa as their favorite. Read more about the Gala 2025 and the winners here.
