The Green Transition Gala Highlights Young Sustainable Development Companies
Biocluster Finland will award young green growth companies at the Green Transition Gala in April 2023. All young, growing and innovative Finnish companies and startups with an environmentally friendly product or service solution can take part in the competition.
The competition has been opened Wednesday 1 February 2023. The application for the competition must be submitted by Wednesday 15 March 2023 at 16:00 (4:00 PM).
The selections will be announced on April 26 at the Clusters Meet Regions event, organized by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) of the European Commission and the regions of Eastern and Northern Finland, in Levi. In addition to national stakeholders, the guest list consists of representatives of various clusters from different regions of Europe, civil servants and a jury of financiers.
Biocluster Finland’s main goal is to promote green growth, business and innovation development, circular economy and the emergence of low-carbon business. Increasing cooperation between companies, RDI-organisations, investors and the public sector greatly advances European competitiveness, resource efficiency, self-sufficiency and sustainable development.

Biocluster Finland is coordinated nationally from Northern Ostrobothnia. The region is known as a concentration of bioeconomy, natural resources and entrepreneurship.
