Carbo Culture is an international climate technology company fighting climate change with proprietary biochar technology. Carbo Culture’s carboliysisTM technology transforms industry sidestream biomass into sustainable, high-quality biochar which binds carbon permanently. The biochar production process generates renewable clean energy as a by-product. In this manner, otherwise difficult-to-utilize by-products are used for carbon capture, biochar, and energy. Carbo Culture’s biochar enhances substrates in horticulture and landscaping, where it permanently sequesters carbon so it does not release back into the atmosphere. It also supports plant growth by helping them withstand drought and excessive moisture. Carbo Culture aims to sequester 2 million tons of carbon dioxide annually into biochar by 2030.

Hycamite produces clean hydrogen and industrial-quality solid carbon by splitting methane using proprietary zero-emission technology. It is based on the thermo-catalytic decomposition (TCD) of methane molecules. In other words, we break the methane with our catalyst and heat. Our novel methane pyrolysis technology requires only 13% of the energy needed to produce hydrogen by electrolysis. As a cutting-edge carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technology, Hycamite’s solution enables the creation of carbon sinks, providing clients with industrial-quality carbon fit for demanding applications, such as Li-ion batteries, composite materials and filter purifiers.
